A Silly Question About Room Rates

When looking at the rack rates for rooms, and you are going during a time when a room only discount is likely, do you figure in the 12.5% room tax BEFORE the discount or AFTER the discount is taken off?

After. You pay on the money you spend, not the money you might have spent.

Yep, no different that if you buy a TV on sale at Best Buy. The sales tax is calculated from the amount you pay.

The tax is on the amount you pay. So that is after the discounts.
