Maybe this has been discussed already, but I have to wonder:

How many others who stay on site regularly are beginning to see diminishing returns in the Early Entry program?

Don't get me wrong. I love doing it, and I think it's a great little perk. But: with Disney building so many more rooms on property -- Saratoga Springs is sprawling all over the place, and Pop Century is only half completed, with more rooms on the way --is it getting to be a little too cramped in the mornings?

Is it time for Disney to think about modifying this? Perhaps opening two parks on any given day, instead of one? Or at least opening more attractions in the parks? (Frontierland would be a nice addition to the menu of choices at 8 am, don'cha think?)

Thoughts? :wizard:

Maybe that's why their testing Evening Magic Hours too.

I'll go one step further and say all the parks should open 1 hour early for Resort guest.

I agree with all the parks should be open..with all major rides operating....plus I think we should get a little more than an hour how about 2......I have never used it before but plan to try once this coming Monday at AK...Want to finish early so we can hop to MK for spectro and Wishes and hopefully a hair cut

I'm all for anything that extends park hours (morning or night).

Greg K, we're almost neighbors. I'm from Glendale.

The old program (7:30 opening) was indeed better. Getting up that early on vacation weeded out the weaklings :). That first half hour was great.

We all need to let Disney know that many would like this option. If enough people write Disney, who knows maybe they will change things. ::yes:: :wave2:

I agree about the diminishing returns. I used EMH on some mornings on our recent trip. Some times I can;t tell the difference. Opening two or more parks would be great (in addition to the evening EMHs).

I have thought about diminishing returns for awhile now. On my last trip I decided to hit the park that had EMH, the day after or day before EMH. I tried this during spring break and it was great. We experienced low crowds all week (we arrived two weeks before Easter and left the weekend before)

I agree! Open ALL the parks an hour early (water parks, DTD, etc...) for resort guests. Also let it be known that I am one of those "weaklings" who doesn't "do mornings". I'd prefer an extra evening hour. I'm on vacation and no way I am getting up earlier on vacation then I do at home (I am a horse stable owner so it's crack-o-dawn for me everyday).

How would an Evening MH work? Kind of like E-Ride nights? Seems like it might be quite a task to get all non-resort guests out of the parks at closing.
