I'd like to say things will get better but I have been with DH since 1983, he has gone from the Rapper look to the Grandpa lives in FL look, white socks with sandals, jeans high up almost under his nips...you get the picture..![]()
If you don't like the way kids these days dress, marry a grown up.
First I will say I love you...no matter what things I have found out about you that annoy me in the past two years that I have been first your GF, then your Fiance, and now your wife (the fact you throw clothes on TOP of the hamper does top the list BTW)..I adore you with every breath I take..that being said:
PULL UP YOUR PANTS AND TIGHTEN YOUR BELT!!! You are not a rap star and I swear if I have to see your jeans sagging at the butt ONE MORE TIME I am going to call your mom and tell on you...that or smack you lol! Dude I know it must be a generation thing (or some odd thing that boys do that I as a normal woman will never "get") but the time has come to stop reliving your youth and wear your pants like a big boy! I have tried to keep my opinion on your (horrible) fashion sense to myself and employ stealth like tactics to change it...hence the "new clothing gifts" at holidays and your birthday...the "broken" washing machine/dryer that "rips, snags and shrinks" your clothes..and most recently the sneaky way I have resorted to buying you one size smaller on every shopping trip in hopes you won't notice that you are down to a 32x34 versus the 34x34 that you came into my care wearing..did you REALLY think you were gaining weight when the scale said the same 168 it always has...I just lied to you when I said the scale must be calibrated wrong...all part of my "evil plan" to drag you into fashion consciousness bwahaha..but its getting old!
Sorry, had to get that out..now I have to order him some 30x34 jeans from old navy online lol..
Some people have absolutely no sense of humor....just sayin'
How old are you?
Have you tried, oh I don't know, actually talking to this "boy" you call a husband about his clothes choices, instead of thinking you're being all sneaky about it?
I would guess that conversing with him about his clothes choices would be a better way to get him to change what he's wearing instead of complaining to a bunch of strangers on the internet.![]()

Does every single thing on the DIS have to be analyzed and found wanting? Seriously?![]()
