Borrowed this song of another board-cute! It goes to the tune of "Clementine"
The Ballad of the Scrapper's Behind"
(sing to the tune of "My Darling Clementine"):
In a scrap room in the suburbs Cuttin' cardstock so divine,
Lived a shady croppin' lady And she always was behind!
Chorus:
"Oh I'm scrappin', Oh I'm scrappin',
I've been scrappin here since nine",
As she sings she'll never catch up
'Cause this scrapper's so behind!
She's got twenty years of photos Nicely lined up in a row,
And she weeps as she is scrappin 'Cause she has so far to go! "
"Oh I'm scrappin', Oh I'm scrappin'",
As she crops she seeks a sign
That the end may be before her,
But this scrapper's still behind!
If they took away her camera, Nevermore to snap a shot,
Maybe then she'd finally catch up That's the only chance she's got!
"Oh I'm scrappin', Oh I'm scrappin'",
You can hear her crop and whine,
And she fears she'll never finish
'Cause this scrapper's so behind!
Still determined yet to finish, She imbibed a little wine,
Well them die-cuts was a-flyin' and the layouts looked so fine!
"Oh I'm scrappin', Oh I'm scrappin',
And I ain't got time to dine,
M&M's will have to suit me,"
Said that scrapper so behind!
Came the day she finally did it, But she nearly had a cow.
Quoth the scrapper, "Holy crap!" her Fun was truly over now!
"No more scrappin'! NO MORE SCRAPPIN'!!?"
For my Xyron I shall pine,"
Said that shady scrappin' lady,
"Oy, I wish I was behind!
" No more eyelets, no more punchies, No more die cuts for to chalk,
SOOOOO... the mournful scrappin' lady Took her camera for a walk.
"I'll be scrappin', I'll be scrappin',
I can't wait to be behind!",
Sang the happy scrappin' lady
As she shot roll ninety-nine!!!
