A Royal Wedding

Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark, 37, married his Australian beauty, 32-year old Mary Elizabeth Donaldson, on Friday May 14 in Copenhagen, Denmark. The couple met at the 2000 Sydney Olympics and had been engaged since fall 2003.

The new Crown Princess Mary is a beautiful woman!
The reason why I am so into this is because I am Danish. My grandfather was an immigrant from there.

I'm Danish too!! My great grandparents on my mom's side immigrated from there. We just had some of our Danish relatives visit last week!

It was really beautiful & they both look so in love.

I really like Frederick, he seems very human(not like royality at all) also his Mum the Queen is very open & friendly & normal (not a bit like a Queen at all).

I just love that family, they seem to be so nice & down to earth.

If you have the opportunity to go, GO! I went in the fall of 1994, I was 18. It was so much fun to see the country and meet a lot of my Danish relatives. The air there is so crisp and clear with all those ocean winds blowing. I plan to go back when my kids are older. Dh has never been.
