A-Rod Hits 600!

How many home runs has he hit without the benefit of steroids? Just curious.

I dislike him. That is all.

guess it all depends on when he first used them/for how long/etc.... assuming for a minute that he was clean when he first broke into the league in Seattle, and taking his first 5 full season homerun totals, he averaged about 37 per year. Take that over a 20 year career (again, big assumption of consistency/no major injuries/etc), and he'd end up with 740.

it's sad that athletes with such raw talent feel the need to use steroids when they would have already been considered one of the greatest in the game without them

I know what you're saying, but I still think he will. The guy is an amazing baseball player. I'm pretty sure he's still the favorite to break the all-time HR record.

Derek Jeters seems like a decent person who doesn't cheat in multiple aspects of his life.
