Hi,

I just got back from a long weekend at Disney World. I wanted to visit all the resorts at WDW- and take advantage of the free dining!

My home resort was Pop and here are some things about the resort.

The rooms were small, with one sink and two double beds. I found Mousekeeping to be a little lax (but I made friends with the spider in the corner of the room and his large web was so lovely). The hair on the bathroom shower stayed my entire visit (I left it there to see if it would get taken care of- it didn't).

I love the theming. The cast members were wonderful. They even accomodated my request to be on the first floor near the parking lot.

I checked in at 4:30 and my wait was about 20 minutes. There were CMs in the lobby playing "bowling" with the kids.

The walk from the furthest room in the 80s building was 8 minutes to Classic Hall. The bus stop at Classic Hall is not covered- brutal considering the heat index was over 100 degrees while I was there.

The gift shop, like all the ones I visited, had your typical souvies (tees, pins, etc) as well as sundries like deoderant, toothpaste, diapers and even items to make sure that your trip next year doesn't include another family member:eek: .

There were life jackets at the pool and an area to play Twister. The arcade was huge. I found the arcades at the Values bigger than the mods and deluxe.

Laundry was $2 per wash or dry. Detergent and dryer sheets were $1.25. There was a change machine, too.

Thanks for your review, we are heading there in a few weeks, so it was great to read your comments. Thanks for sharing :cheer2:

How were the buses? We have one night there next weekend before AKV.

thanks for your review, it was informative, and funny

Hi Bobbi,

The buses were fine- I did not wait long for them and the drivers were nice. The one thing that I did not like was that the waiting area is out in the sun and the heat index was 100 degrees on the days that I was there.

You will love AKL- I visited there, too. I will be writing a review about it soon (maybe tomorrow).
