A REAL haunting.........

but yet you just told a million people on a disney site. :thumbsup2 hee hee

But I do believe there are spirits here.

When my oldest DD was 3 or 4, we lived at the US military Academy in NY.

We would take walks every evening and one of the quickest ways to get home was through the cemetery.

When you would enter, the temp would drop 10 degrees. Granted, it was lower than street level and there was always a breeze, it was eerie. Well, one night in July we stopped because the lightning bugs were everywhere, and my DD wanted to "catch the falling stars".

She went a little ways off, and I was playing with my younger DD in her stroller with a bug.

My older DD came back over with some flowers in her hand, like a bouquet.
Our conversation, and I remember is 8 years later:
Me: "J, where did you get those?"
DD: "Over there." She points behind her to some plots next to a stone wall.
Me: "J, you need to put those back. Those belong to somebody."
DD: "But she said I could have them!" she was really upset that I told her she couldn't have them.
Me: "Who told you that?" We were the only ones there.
DD: "That little girl over there." She pointed back at the wall.

I was really freaked out, so I told her to show me where, and we would put them back. She walked directly over to one particular grave and set them back down. The grave belonged to a little girl that had died in the late 1700's. And beside the headstone, was the wildflower plant - minus all the flowers that my DD had picked.

See I'm far more likely to believe a story like this one. There would be no reason for a child of that age to make something like that up or to even be able to look at the dates on the headstone and do the math and determine it was another little girl. That seriously gave me chills

It still creeps me out. It took me a very long time to go back in there.

As a nurse, nearly my entire career has been dealing with dying patients. I worked ICU, the ER and did home health with terminal patients in their homes. I've had a large number of patients die during the night when I was alone with them...both in hospital settings and private homes. I've never encountered anything "strange" but always hoped I would.

I will say this: If I were on staff at the hospital being discussed here and could get my hands on linen used to wipe down "walls of blood", NO ONE ON THE PLANET could stop me (without shooting me) from taking them out of the hospital to be analyzed. Seriously, wouldn't anyone who SAW this happen want to know what the substance was??? :confused3 But, I rather doubt there would be a need to do this as I find it nearly impossible to swallow.

ETA: It's summer and school is out. I think someone's had a recent sleepover and told ghost stories. Yep!

This story gave me chills!

I think someone may have caught The Shining on TV recently. Redrum!

If your sister calls a paranormal show, she should be reprimanded as that would be extremely poor judgement. This would be wrong on so many levels.

I work in a building that's supposed to be haunted by not one, but three ghosts. We get the ghosthunter calls a few times a years, especially around Halloween. I'm usually the person who handles the calls. I tell them that if there are ghosts here, then we are getting along fine with them and we want to keep it that way. Having our building tested for ghosts would be a very negative event for us. Regardless of the outcome, some people would decide they were afraid to visit our theater and galleries. Other people would come, not to see art or a show, but to look for ghosts.

But the initial story of this thread was a little tooo far fetched. Believe me, i have had my fair share of run-ins with spirits and spooky things. I am a total believer... I could tell many stories that would give you the chills and make the hair stand up on the back of your neck, but that was just a bit extreme. :flower3:

That's what I think. I have also seen some odd things but the bleeding walls is just a bit too much.
