I'm starting to think about the mini details now before we head off to the land of the mouse !

I am having a hair and makeup trial with patricia le jeune - do I need to tip her ???

I am having engagement photos with Randy Chapman - Do I need to tip him?

We are having a menu tasting session - Do we need to tip the chef ?

Oh I'm going crazy !!! Can you tell that I come from a country who tend not to tip :rotfl:

I know where you're coming from! I generally subscribe to the "It doesn't hurt to tip" theory when in the states. However, in this situation it's a bit different! Could you round up what ever you're paying her? You could try the percentage thing... I don't think the $ per bag theory would translate into these items... :confused3

I'm sure there are many people here who will be able to answer these questions better then me...

I have always heard that you don't tip the owners, so then no for both Patricia and Randy. I did not tip the chef or even the server for our planning session. I always tip servers 15-20% of the bill. Since there is no bill, how would you figure a tip? But since you brought this up, I am sure that the lady who was our server, doesn't get paid nearly what she should, (as is the case with most servers) so now I feel bad for not tipping her.:headache:

I agree on all counts. :) Although I think I tipped Patricia a little bit after feeling peer pressure about tipping makeup artists from this board :rotfl: And yes, our wonderful, friendly server at the menu tasting session is probably woefully underpaid.

Thankyou ladies :)

So to clear things up for simple minded old me :rotfl: ....

No for Randy

No for Chef

Possibly for Patricia

and

Probably yes for server

??????????

I didn't tip anyone at my PS or my engagement shoot w/Randy. I guess you could tip the server for the PS, but I'd think it'd be kind of awkward... I dunno!

I haven't had my hair "test run" yet, so I can't answer to that one. :rotfl:
