We've booked the Swan for 1 night in October (we're DVC members and want to go a day before our reservation at BCV). The question is.... would it be worth it for me to upgrade to Club Level?

I have enough American Express points to convert to Starwood points and upgrade using the points, but I'm not sure if I want to do it. If we upgrade to Club Level will we be on one of the top floors? Right now we have a lake view, will that stay the same on Club Level? Is Club Level comprable to Disney concierges?

I have plenty of time to decide. The reservationist told me that I would upgrade with points at check-in. But I could use any help in making up my mind. :)

I have never stayed on concierge level at any of the WDW resorts. I have stayed on CL more than once at the Swan. From what I understand, it is more concierge "light" compared with the Disney resorts....we enjoyed it, but we weren't paying for it (upgradedf). One major plus to the Swan Club Level is MamaT--in my opinion, she IS the Swan.....absolutely gracious and an absolute doll!

if you aren't planning on using the points for anything else, what the heck? enjoy yourself! :)

I will be staying at The Swan this December. ( my 3rd visit )
This time I will be upgrading to balcony room with club level access. I called Starwood about it already and they told me that I had enough points to do this, and to call back 5 days before arrival.

OK.......My question is this.......I want to meet Mama T annd say Hello. I assume she wears a name tag ?? If she doesn't wear a name tag, how will I know that it is her ?? She sounds like such a wonderful person !!

Claudia - I think she wears a name tag, but otherwise, she will introduce herself to you when you come in. :)

MommaT and Thabo both wear name tags. You'll KNOW when you meet them, as they will totally blow you away with their hospitality and graciousness!

***********>> Use the points! Better you use them than have them go unused! btw..thank you for sharing all of your great pictures on various threads!

Have a wonderful trip everyone!
Debbie
