I'm a little worried about my music. I don't have an iPod. I still use CDs...I have books full of them. My question is: Will I be able to bring my Discman and CDs on the airplane, or am I going to have to leave it at home?

By the same token, every year that I go, I always go to the Virgin Megastore and buy DVDs...A lot of DVDs. On the way back, I put them in the same bag that I put my Discman, my CD book and a real book or two in. Will I still be able to do that or will I have to stow it all away?

Sincerely,

Well NOT WDW but my DH just spent 3 weeks in Europe with one of our DS' and they had NO problems with their IPODS!!!

Also, no worries on drinks. A new cold bottle of water was at every seat when they got on and if there was something else you perferred you were handed it pretty much right away.

DH and DS said the airlines were very accommodating to any of your requests.

The rules for electronic devices haven't changed. The big change is regarding liquids. You cannot carry on anything that is liquid or that was liquid.

we had ipods Cds DVDs and players galore last week on plane to WDW, no prob at all........Enjoy :cheer2:

Yup. My friend listened to hers on the plane. Week before last and last week. You'll be fine. :thumbsup2

OK - I hear I'm ok with our DVD player (whew - that makes life easier). Question for those who have flown lately....the item in carry-on that I'm most worried about is the kids' light-up toys. I KNOW it sounds silly - but I bought these toys months ago at Dollar General and I've been so anxious to show the kids since - they're really cool and have a handle with a ball shape on top and when you press the button tons of different colors light up in the ball as it spins.

It's kind of like a laser type thing I guess and I'm not really sure if there's anything liquid inside that makes it work.

I'm paranoid to pack them and have them taken away and yet I really want them in carry-on so that we're sure to have them for Fantasmic which I have scheduled for the first night we arrive.

Any thoughts on these?
