A question about waits/queues for shows at HS

I was looking at the wait times app on MDE, and I see that they only list show times, not waits for the shows (DisJr, Beauty&Beast, Indiana Jones, etc).

I would assume since B&B is a Tier 1, it usually lines up and you can't just waltz up at a show time and get in? Or is it that you're just getting better seating with the FP+?

I'm trying to build our HS itinerary, so I'm just trying to figure out how to put these into the equation.

The last time we went to those shows about 2 years ago, it was end of August and there wasn't a wait time really. Once they open the 'area' to let you in it moves quickly, obviously sooner you get there the better seating but really no problems or issues at all with seating. Can't remember what time they allowed you to enter to sit, maybe check with cast member when you arrive at the park. Unless you are going in "HIGH" season I definitely do not see a need for FP+ for any of those

You pretty much can waltz up and get into BatB, and FP there does not generally provide better seating. It is a poor Tier 1 choice.

Ok, that's good to know, then! We already picked our FP's, and did not choose any of the shows. We are going over SWW/Memorial, though (on a HS recommended day).

eta: So, I was building out the rest of the itinerary, trying to figure out these shows. Thanks!
