A question about MYW Package?

OK, I know you have to book the hotel, tickets, and dining for all guests in the room and that the dining portion cannot exceed the number of nights of the room reservation.

BUT, Can you include extra days on the park tickets? For example, I book at AKL for 7 nights with 7 days of dining, but can I have 8, 9 or 10 days on the tickets? That way I can go to the Poly for

If not, do the tickets expire in 14 days same as if you bought them separately, or are they like the old Length of Stay tickets, good only for the duration of your room reservation?

(I want to resort hop, even if I lose the dining option for the last couple of days, but I don't want to have to buy the tickets at the higher per day rate.)

Yes, you can get a ticket with extra (or less) days. Even though your dining has to be the same as your length of stay your admission does not. It is the standard 14 day expiration unless you purchase the no expiration option.

Ok, I thought I understood the new MYW tickets with dining, but after reading this and other posts, I am not so certain. I have an 8 night stay booked at CSR in April. I have purchased a 7 day MYW park hopper ticket since we will be offsite one day. My TA thought that the dining corresponded to the number of days of my ticket, but...from what I am reading on the boards, does my dining correspond to the number of nights at CSR? If that is the case, I have an one more day of meals than I thought. I will need to re-think my PS! Thanks for any info you can give on this. I am new to the boards and have learned so much just reading. Thank you all!

It's the nights. The dining plan is automatically done for the number of nights you'll be at the resort. A 7-night, 8-day stay would get you the 7 sit-down meals, 7 CS meals, and 7 snacks.

The park tickets are a separate issue and do not have to correspond at all to your length of stay at the resort.

The way both my TA (Sue Ellen w/ DU) and CRO explained it to me is that dining corresponds with your hotel stay and your ticket is separate from that (any length you decide to purchase).

that is correct the dining is the only think related to lentgh of stay. but also remember that some select dining is 2 sitdown credits so just have one of your meals there nad then you won't have any left over credits.

I have an PAP but my DH doesn't. Can I book a package with hotel, 10 day tickets(with no expiration) and dining and not use my ticket until after my PAP expires? We will only be there 4 nights, but I'd like to use his tickets on another trip. I wouldn't use mine on this trip at all. Any suggestions would be helpful.

Sorry, I'm confused...If I wanted to stay at the POFQ for 6 nights with dining and the WL for 3 nights with dining using a code for both, can this be done if I purchased a 9 day ticket. Thanks for any help you can provide.

We booked with AAA (not AP). We are doing 7 nights at YC and 2 nights at AKL. If we wanted dining at both we needed to buy a one day pass at the AKL since you need to have a pass purchased with the resort stay. This didn't make any financial sense so what we ended up doing is getting 7 days at YC with a 9 day pass and a 7 day dining plan (got AAA room discount) we then move to AKL with just a room (AAA discount) and no meal plan.
