A question about music files...

Does anyone here know how to turn a WMA file into an mp3 file? Do I need a program to do that? I know when I edit pictures, I need a program to turn JPEG's into png's, etc. Is it the same for music? If so, what program should I get? I am trying to add a song to my website and can't figure out how to get an mp3 file.

I would appreciate any help. TIA!!
