A question about Mears/24 hours advanced booking?

Do I have to book at LEAST 24 hours in advance or only 24 hours in advance? Like, could I book my shuttle today even though I won't need it for another week, or do I only call them the day before I need them?

I called Mears about two weeks ago to book my car service pickup and drop off for a mid August trip. When I called a few months ago to check out prices and book they told me to call back when it was closer, so I did, but I didn't want to cut it too close!
