Does anyone have any idea when the extra magic hrs, especially the night hrs, will return? That was probably the biggest draw for us to stay on property. The MK hrs that went from 12-3:30am were some of our favorites. It would always happen about once a wk during the summer. Any info about morning or evening hrs returning is greatly appreciated. And let me say I know about some of the early opening times. But honestly, after several days of 10 hr days in the parks, early mornings are kind of a hit and miss deal for our family.

Disney has announced they are replacing the former extra magic hours with an early morning entry, where onsite guests can enter any of the 4 parks 30 minutes before they open. It has not said when that will actually start though.

The general consensus is that the evening extra hours are likely done for good, possibly to be replaced by the special ticketed events in the evenings which generate additional revenue. Just speculation on that at this time though.

Fastpass is also a pure guessing game at this point. No one knows when, or if, or in what form, fastpass will return.

So sad 😭 but thank you

would a Disney friendly hotel fall under this as well- the 30 minutes early? Specifically Hilton bonnet creek?
If they have the later parties again is that onsite guests only or would Hilton bonnet creek work too?

-It appears Bonnet Creek specifically will be participating, I googled it and their website says they participate so you should be good on that front (sorry I tried to link t but the site wouldn't let me)

-I have never done one so if I'm incorrect someone please correct me, but my understanding was the after hours parties fall into two categories:

1) Standard After Hours: these are just late night ticketed events open to anyone who gets a ticket. I do not believe you need any type of hotel reservation for this, but again if someone could clarify for me that would be awesome.

2) Moonlight Magic: these are similar to the standard after hours parties but are for DVC members only (or rather, you need at least one DVC member in your party to do it). I don't think you have to be staying DVC, rather you just need a membership to purchase and need to show a membership card upon checking in

Again, I think it is all guesswork at this point. However, I would imagine that the 30 minute early entry would be granted to all of the off-site resorts that benefitted from the extra benefits in the past.

As for the evening parties, I believe most of the thought is that those will be ticketed events that anyone can buy a ticket for, whether staying on-site or not. I guess it is possible they would limit those to people staying on-site and the good neighbor hotels as well though.
