A question about dining reservations

We're travelling as a party of 4 adults and 2 children.

I want to know if it is possible when making my ADR's to book two reservations (at different restaurants) for the same evening and therefore split up our party if that makes sense.

Some nights I'd like it to just be me, my husband and our kids and arrange for my parents to dine somewhere else.

Is this possible? We will be on the free dining plan offer

The system won't let you any more, but if you don't link your ADR to your resort reservation if staying onsite you could make 2 under different names. It means that you can't make use of the +10 onsite privilege but you can still book at 180 days out. Otherwise the reservation system will cancel the first when it confirms the second one.
