A question about almond croissants.....

So last trip we stumbled upon the best almond croissants we ever had at the Boardwalk Deli. Since we were staying no where near there, it was quite the trek to go get this tasty treat.

My question is....does anyone know if these croissants are specially made at/for the Boardwalk or are they mass produced and found at other resorts and/or inside the parks?

I'm not certain, but I suspect they're the same as the ones at Les Halles Boulengerie & Pattisserie in the France pavilion at EPCOT.

The best almond croissants that I've had at Disney recently were at the Summer Lake House during brunch. The ones at Les Halles used to be in 1st place, but sadly, they have done down hill over the last few years.

My last trip I was on a mission to try the almond croissant - I know and doubt they will come close to the ones in Italy but willing to try them everywhere even if close. My last trip in October I went to the Summer Lake House only to be told they are sold on the weekend/served during brunch. I did not get a chance to go back. Now I wonder if they are the same as the ones at Les Halles and the Boardwalk Bakery.

Every resort CS has croissants from plain to chocolate to ?. I know GF has the almond ones in the past. As your trip gets closer use the App to look at CS at resorts. With a side note even though it is not listed it may still be available. I would love to think like it was in the not so distant past…. However these days every Disney owned that has a ? Will be the same. At one time what was BW bakery was an actual bakery same with PO riverside.

I believe they are made at Disney's central bakery and also sold in Epcot. Lots of resort quick service locations have plain and chocolate croissants, but I don't remember seeing almond ones.

Okay, not an almond croissant, but Animal Kingdom has a delectable croissant covered in pistachios and honey. They only serve it in the morning.

Is that the one at Tamu Tamu refreshments, across from Dawa bar? I have one every time I go to Animal Kingdom. Love them!

I had them several times in December from Gasparilla at GF. It's on the online menu.
You might look at the online menus for other WDW quick service restaurants,
although they are slow to update menus if incorrect.

Summer House on the Lake's almond croissants (served WARM!) are heavenly!!! You will not be disappointed!
