When leaving the paint store, make sure the lid on the paint is tightly closed before you put it in your trunk.

If it's lime green, tell everyone you did that on purpose.;)

I bet your car smells paintily.:teeth:

lol

PSA #2 – when the paint guy from Home Depot opens the can of freshly mixed paint to show you the color…take a step or two back when he bangs the lid back on. I have the squirts of paint on my shirt to prove this one out. (no it wasn’t lime green)

Lime green is OK. Any other color and I'd be  .

Seriously, hope it all comes out!! :p

I vote that all DISers paint their car trunks (no, make that their cars) lime green!!!!:p :jester:

LOL, oh charlie. It was Home Depot for me too.

It wasn't lime green paint either. I have a bright red car. Inside my trunk was a dark gray. It is still dark gray with splatters of blue everywhere.

I cleaned it out as best I could. I was able to save 1/2 gallon of the paint. I lost the other 1/2. Luckily I bought 2 gallons of it, just in case.
