A Plumbing Question

My tub won't drain, the sink is a little slow in draining and the toilet is backed up! I'm assuming that they are all attached to one drain? The plumber is coming tomorrow - any ideas what they may do to find the problem?

Do you have septic or city sewer? Do you have any children in the family? Maybe the flushed something down?

Most likely they'll run a snake down to unclog the pipes.

City sewer and no small children. So all three pipes may need to be cleared?

We had this problem and it was tree roots in the line running to the street. They had to clear it a couple times over the past 3-4 years. We finally took that tree down this year as it was also causing some damage to our foundation. I do miss the tree but we have planted another.
