A bit off topic, but wanted to give a plug to Starwood resorts (runs the Swan) Megan (my dd 14yo) and I are at the Westin in downtown Cincinnati-
we travel here twice a year, a 9hr drive from Rochester ny for her to receive medical care-
to make a long story short, we adopted Megan at the age of 12 from China with known birth anomolies that China repaired wrong- we thought our local university hospital could help her, but they had no idea how to manage her case. So I did some research and we ended up here last year. It is worth every bit of the 9 hr drive to come here.
Many local hotels will give discounted rates for traveling families, but I need to plug the westin- whether it is local management or corporate I am not sure, but they offer some room for FREE for families who have to travel to Childrens.
So I am giving a plug to them for doing this wonderful thing for us! Ohhh and those heavenly beds! Love them!
BTW- Megan went to WDW for the first time last year- she really was not excited as she had NO idea what to expect-
That first day in EPCOT- she looked at me and said it was the BEST day of her life. Brought tears to my eyes!
