A Pirate and Princess Get Married...and Disneymoon! UPDATE 6/15 DAY 3 PART 2

You made me flashback to the day after my wedding. Our bank is luckily open on Sundays(in a Grocery Store). We had to take out our Marriage license So we could deposit the checks as they were in both of our names. The bank wouldn't change my wife's name on the account without proof of marriage and they wouldn't deposit the checks without correct names on the account. The whole time I am in a panic because I think we are going to miss our flight but we actually go there with two hours to spare. Can't wait for your next issue of the Honeymoon Digest

Hi guys! Welcome home.
Your honeymoon sounds great. :goodvibes It looks like you had a wonderful adventure. I can't wait to hear more. I appreciate you sharing it with us.

As far as teenagers go....there is one asleep across the hall here. Someone came in the middle of the night and switched kids on me. It is the payback that all our moms wished on us. The curse of all mommies...you know, that they turn out just like you! Frightening!!!:scared:

Looking forward to more:coffee:

LOL, I feel so bad for you guys. Hopefully the teens were not sitting right behind you.

Oh they were sitting behind us. And in front of us. To the side of us. Our whole basic 10 rows of seating was filled with them and they took to converging right by our row :scared1:

Oh no! not the teenagers! I feel your pain~! You are off to a great start, cant wait for more!!

Thanks so much! Yes, teenagers in a large group are terribly obnoxious. The first time we went to Disney we stayed at ASMo and there was some kind of convention with hundreds of them...the things they were saying were HORRIFICLY scary and not something you ever want to hear coming out of anyone's mouth never mind minors!

I can't wait to read the rest of your trip report.

Congratulations to you and your HUSBAND! Isn't it funny saying that word!!??

Kim

IT IS! Everytime I say it, it's incredibly strange, but stranger is the name change! Everytime I go to sign my name I then remember, uhhh no stupid that's not your name anymore!!

:rotfl: :lmao: BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP! You already have me laughing my head off!! ;) Too bad for the cab driver Jeremy had snapped you up just the day before!!:lmao: :rotfl2:

I cannot wait for more!:thumbsup2

Oh the loveliness of the BEEP. Such a terrible sound really. I know, cabbies around here are NUTS! :lmao:

Wow, I can relate! I too, love kids. But...we always seem to get the screaming babies or rowdy teenagers seated right by us. :goodvibes Great start to your TR! :thumbsup2

It really is terrible having loud people around you on an airplane. I'm getting ahead of myself but we had a group of young guys on a layover back from Vegas on our plane ride home...you can imagine how fun that was

I loved the Cabbie! What a riot!

We made the mistake of taking a morning flight the next day ourselves for our honeymoon. I think we are excited about getting there that we are not thinking clearly. We actually did not go to the bank that night though. I am not sure if there were ATM's in 1994. If so, we did not have a card. Now, I can't imagine living without an ATM card. Back in 1994, we signed all the checks and gave all the money to my parents with my bank info and they deposited it for us on Monday.

I can't wait to read more.

To be a cab driver in this area you really do have to be certifiably insane. The traffic alone would make you loose it.

Yes, the honeymoon the morning after is NOT a good idea. I wish I had thought of getting our parents to do that- smart lady!

What a nightmare with the teenagers. We had that once with a 8 hour flight it was a horrible. Wanted to kil them in the end but hey we were all teenagers once. Can't wait for more keep it comming!!!!popcorn::

Oh no, six and a half hours was bad enough....that hour and a half would have DEFINITELY thrown me over the edge. Although yes, I once too was on the other end of the stick, of course I was NEVER like them :rolleyes1

Ugh, teenagers. We always end up with obnoxious teenagers by us in line everywhere. Of course, it is probably payback for how obnoxious I was when I was younger. :rotfl:

So, I am very glad we have a few days planned between the wedding and the honeymoon now. I thought it would seem weird, but it looks to be much less stressful now.

Yes, I would definitely say it's payback to our own childhoods!

You are doing the right thing having the days to space it out, you'll be so much more relaxed!

Oh no, what a nightmare. It really is essential to have those checks in though! We live in Jersey City which before 9/11 was NOT a place you wanted to be. Since however it's basically an extension of NYC and very beautiful...in some parts. Problem with our part is we're on the borderline of the nice and not nice. Walking into the food store with all those checks was VERY scary, and a moment I'm sure I'll remember the same way you remember your panic attack!

The honeymoon really was wonderful, the best of times. Awww, I can't believe he's a teenager! It must be very strange having children grow up so fast, I get nostalgic every time my dog has a birthday! :rotfl2:

Hi everyone, I'm just checking in. Sorry I haven't updated this in the last couple days. I've been very busy....

I have an interview on Monday morning in NYC that, if I was to get the job would practically double my salary. I've been running around all weekend getting prepared.

On a more somber note my brother had unexpected surgery today due to having Appendicitis and it had to be removed. Thankfully it's not a dreadfully serious surgery and his wife just called telling me she spoke to the doctors and he's doing just fine in recovery, but it still threw me for a loop.

Tomorrow I have a family obligation and then Monday is full of interviews so I probably won't get to post again till Tuesday but I promise a nice long day 1 then!

Wish me luck!
