Skirts - if I'm a size 12 at let's say Loft in pants and shorts. Cause of my booty. And they have 41" hip for my size. Do I go size 12 for the running skirts?
I wear size large in capris/shorts for target, nike, etc.

#not too proud to post my size online in front of everyone...it's a SALE, it is worth it!

I'm eyeing Rayu skirt hard!

Definitely go by the size chart!! I have that skirt and really like it.

If the size doesn't work for you, you could try to trade it on FB. :)

I just got the email!!! I had messaged you earlier about trying the pants finally but hadn't gotten around to ordering yet. So glad I procrastinated. I ordered the 1124 pants and because of the sale ordered my first skirt. Bee!!! I had to really restrain myself not to buy more.

Ack, I did it. I bought the Ryu skirt after googling the size charts for other brands I know fit me.
I figure it'll match the most stuff I already have (like my orange shoes!) and there's a chance it could look passably cute with my cherry blossoms. EEP!

Yay!! The skirts are my favorite bottoms. I will caution you - it's an adjustment after being used to SparkleSkirts because the shorts are shorter. But I do like that they are much lighter (the fabric, I mean) than SparkleSkirts. Good for running in hot weather!

Woohoo for getting a good deal on the pants!!

Yay! Good pick! I love that one, but I love pretty much all of the skirts, sooo...

I got the hats that they have (1 black and 1 white) - been meaning to add those when I order other things but kept forgetting. And I got the lounge pants. :)

I can't decide!!! Everything I want is sold out... mermaid capris, cable knit capris, black lace shorts. I've been wanting InB forever and with this sale it's time!!! I may get the serpent capris, ISO skirt or pink floral shirts. I'd love to get the 1124 pants like @ZellyB and @Sailormoon2 for my sister....she's a yoga loving cowgirl! Lol. Decisions decisions

I had the new 1124 in my cart but did not pull the trigger. What a surprise to see the email about 30% off. I added the crane shirt, the purple skirt I had been eyeing forever, and the sandstone arm sleeves. Then I had to find out what was going on over here. I knew there would be a buzz. Excited to be part of it.

Me too!! I've been eyeing the denim style yoga pants for ever, and this sale was exactly what I needed to buy!!!
I hope you like them!!

Yeah, the Facebook fan groups saw this discount yesterday and went nuts!

Tinker Bell Half Marathon Weekend Training

Week 0 (2/27 - 3/5) - 0 miles!
MO: Last Disney day, wahhh
TU: rest
WE: rest
TH: rest
FR: yoga
SA: rest
SU: yoga

Princess recovery is done! Since I screwed myself up after the marathon, I wanted to make sure to take appropriate time off after the half. I was feeling pretty well-recovered by mid-week. Friday's yoga class was an "all levels" class that felt pretty awesome, but Sunday was a different story - this was a "power" class (more advanced) and I got my a-- handed to me. :faint: I wouldn't normally sign up for a power class, but it was the only one that worked with my schedule that day. I wish I was in good enough shape to keep up...maybe some day!

Week 1 (3/6 - 3/12) - 11 miles completed
MO: 2-mile run/yoga
TU: lifting
WE: 2-mile run
TH: lifting
FR: 3-mile run/yoga
SA: rest
SU: 4-mile run

Tink training begins!

I am somewhat following Hal Higdon's Novice 2 Half Marathon schedule, which will have me topping out at a 12-mile long run.

Anyway, Monday's run was good! I think I want to give shorter run/walk intervals an honest shot for this training cycle, so I did the first 10 minutes at 1:30/1:00 intervals...and then for the rest of the run switched to 1:00/:30 intervals. This went okay! On Wednesday, I did 1:00/0:30 intervals for 10 minutes, 1:15/0:30 for the next 10 and then 1:30/0:30 for the remainder of the run - this also went well!

Lifting was fine. I'm starting to get bored with it again, which is probably not good since I just had a week off! But I know it helps me, so I'll stick with it. Yoga was good on Monday, Friday was tough after running and it was just sort of a different class - not my favorite but I still liked it.

Friday's run was COLD - temperatures back into the 30s here, and it snowed a bit!

I did 1:00/0:30 intervals for this entire run and it was good! I started to feel a little tired toward the end but I pulled through!

Saturday was a rest day, but was filled with lots of errands (including meeting up with my friend M - from my Princess Half trip report - for some shopping).

And today was my first long run of Tink training, a 4-miler. We're getting a big blast of winter here this week...right now temperatures are in the low 20s and we're looking at 6-10 inches of snow over the next couple of days (??!?!?!?). I just didn't have it in me to go out in temperatures that felt like the teens, so I stuck to our treadmill and watched 1.5 episodes of Flea Market Flip (not my favorite HGTV show but that's what was on!). Our treadmill is great, but it takes a long time to slow/speed up so it's not great for short intervals. I ended up doing 7:00/1:00 intervals 3 times, then 6:00/1:00 twice, then a couple of 5:00/1:00 intervals to finish. It went very well and I'm happy to have finished my first successful week of Tink training! Also, Mr. Ariel484 and I went to see "Lego Batman" today after I ran and it was really funny! I highly recommend. Hope to see "Beauty and the Beast" this coming weekend, even though I think it'll be a little weird (because...I am SO familiar with the animated version and this one almost looks like a shot-for-shot remake, at least 95% of it...so it'll be what I know but not quite the same. If that makes sense!). RANDOM: Harveys is coming out with a line of "Beauty and the Beast"-inspired bags and I'm not sure what I think based on the few previews I have seen. HMMMM...

This week will be filled with snow , more running (adding 3 miles onto my weekly total unless I start to feel terrible at some point, then I'll scale back) and Disneyland ADRs! I think I can start to make them tomorrow. :) Can't believe Tink is almost here!

Have a great week, friends! :yay:

YES! Congrats on a successful training week!!! What is up with the weather. It is March Break here and in most previous years, it warms up enough to enjoy some T-shirt and even occasional Patio! But I just completed my second weekend of long runs in -20 celcius temps, absolutely outrageous!!

Can you post a link to these Harvey's bags, to which you speak? I am curious!
Also DH and I really enjoyed Lego Batman too! Although the JOker character is much more amusing in the actual games.

I know! It's so weird! Such a tease with getting some nice weather in between. Hopefully this is the last of it!

Here's the video, the Harveys stuff starts at 10:30. I'm not sure what I expected from the bags and they're really cute, but I don't think I'll buy any. I know they'll release more than what's in the video though...

Highly recommend muting while watching, they're scream-y!
