I remember those days when I had only one pin bag and a LE 1000 was something special.
I also remember going to lunch with peeps from all over the United States!
Maryland
Kentucky ( duh )
New Hampshire
Florida
Massachusetts
Illinois
California
need I go on?
And yes, never getting on an attraction.
I even remember we had cm lanyard "territories". I had the right side of World Showcase and Scottakamickey had the left side!!!!
I will never forget Scott standing in the rain conducting the fountains while we waited (almost said in a line but we all know that it is not a line unless Disney says it is) for the release of the Flubber pin!
I had no idea people loved pins this much! I love pins, and have a lot of them too. But have never been able to be there to wait in line for a special edition. That must be a great feeling, to finally get it in your hands!! The photo in the first post is great, and the guys all look TIRED after a long day of pin-trading (I'm assuming).
OMG! I remember seeing those pics but it doesn't seem like it should be that long ago! I never stood in lines @WDW but I did stand in many a line in front of TDS. When I think about it now I must have bumped my head! I've met many really great friends from pintrading and those friendships are priceless.
