I'm trying to make this buy 4 nights get 3 deal work for my family. If you don't mind reading through a few details, I'd appreciate your opinion. We've been to WDW many times, so budget is more of a factor than "this is the trip of a life time, we must see it all" frame of mind.

My family- DH, me (the mom) DD12, DS9, DS2

room only-- 4 nights "on the company"
DH will be attending a business conference at the Contemporary Resort March 22-26. His company will pay for 4 nights to for him to attend. The conference rate is $195 for the Contemporary in the garden wing.
(4 X 195= $780) paid by company

park tickets-- $468
We are FL residents and could buy the Play 3 Passes for $389 (just me and the kids). We'd have the option to buy DH only what he could use...a one day base ticket for $79. He will be working most of the time.

===========================

Stay 4 get 3 Deal---$2637
Garden wing in Contemporary
2 day MYW base tickets for each of us (DH included)
get $200 gift card to spend (would use for food)

$2637-$780 (from company)=$ 1857 out of my pocket for 7 nights and 2 days of parks.

I chose 2 days, to try and keep the cost down. We'd be happy to have some pool time. We could add the water park plus option ($159 for 3 of us) and get a visit to a water park and Disney Quest. That would give us tickets for 4 days (2 park, 1 water park, 1 DQ)

I know I'm kinda of comparing apples to oranges here....It just looks like I'd be spending alot of money to get 3 "Free" nights. I'd just want to make sure I'm thinking this through and haven't missed any options. Have I missed anything? Is there a better way? Any advice?

thanks for your time.

thanks for your time.

Well, first, for the package being offered, I believe you have to buy a minimum of 4 days for the park tickets and then they give you 3 days free.

But, honestly, it sounds like the most economical way is to let the company pay your way and buy the FL passes.

A correction

You must buy 4 nights at the resort and they give you up to 3 nights free

You may buy as little as a 1 day base ticket with this. IF you buy 4 days tickets you then can have up to 3 extra days tickets for free, but you do not have to buy 4 day tickets.

How about just listing me and the kids on the package? We wouldn't have to buy DH a ticket. We wouldn't be going over the room occupancy limit. We aren't buying any type of dining plan.

Is that breaking any rules?
