A Note on Fantasmic Priority Seating

Boy have they screwed things up. Balcony Seating is sold at Guest Services at DCA (which does not open before early entry to Disneyland) and Priority Seating is sold at Guest Services inside Disneyland. I was really angry after showing up at DCA's Guest Services at 7am on 6/11 only to be told tickets would be sold inside Disneyland. After waiting half an hour inside Disneyland, I was told Prioirty Seating is sold there and I would need to go back outside to DCA Guest Services to get Balcony Seating. I politely asked for a complaint form and a manager was called who contacted DCA Guest Services to confirm availability abd have the tickets held. After thanking her and again asking for the complaint form, she sold me the tickets. And as for the Balcony, wonderful experience worth every penny. You are made to feel very special. It is definitely worth the extra $1 over Priority Seating where you are still with crowd. Also, I was told that with Priority Seating, there is only one special box per family (for anyone with more than one child, you know what types of problems that can bring.)

I'm a little bit confused. Are you talking about the Fantasmic Dessert Buffet seats? If so, are you saying that they are now sold at CA Guest Services, rather than Disneyland Guest Services? And, what time does the window open? (it used to open when early entry began at Disneyland). If you aren't talking about Fantasmic Dessert Buffet seats, all my questions make no sense, so sorry!!!;)

There are now two types of seating:

Desert Balcony sold at Guest Services in the Plaza near DCA. On Monday 6/11, it was not open at 7:30a when early entry began.

Priority Seating--reserved seating down front and center with a boxed desert--This is sold inside Disneyland at Guest Services in City Hall

How many tickets are sold of each type?

Does anyone have a suggestion about what time we should NOW arrive to get tickets?

Thanks for the info - since I am going in 2 weeks, and had planned to try for tickets, this is VERY important information!!

The balcony seating is $41, right? How much is the Priority Seating?

Premium (my earlier post referred to it as Priority--it is called Premium.) is $40 for adults and $30 for kids 3-9. Balcony is $41 pp regardless of age. There are 16 Balcony seats and I'm not sure of the number of Premium (I've heard 60-100 and it looked like at least 60.) As for what time to show up, my recommendation is to go to the Plaza Guest Services rep on the night before you plan to go and ask for all the specifics--my feeling is that there may be some changes in the process.

When I was there a few weeks ago, there was some confusion among CM's as to where the Fantasmic seats were sold for both types. As posted earlier, the Dessert Buffet seats are on sale at the Guest Services at DCA(behind the mural) and show up early.( 6:30 for an 8:00 opening). Still, a great experience.. Oh, all seats can be purchased by the first person in line, so--!!
