A night in the Dream Suite report

What an excellant way to end your vacation!! A dream come true:cloud9:

Thank you very much for your kind words. I was really apprehensive about posting a report because I didn't want to sound like I was bragging, but I know if another DSer had spent a night in the suite, I would really enjoy reading about it. My son, Tommy, has a creative talent for expressing himself. He's a very kind young man who not only has a way with words but also with people. Everyone who meets him takes an immediate liking to him. That's just his personality.

You didn't at ALL sound like you were bragging, and gave each and every one of us here on the boards an extra ounce of HOPE. I think your son is a very special writer. He had us feeling like we were right there, as did YOU. I can understand your apprehensiveness in posting a report about it, in case someone here felt a little envious (heck, I felt totally envious, and I'll be the first to admit it :rotfl: ), BUT - with that being said - I am *very* glad it was won by someone who SO totally cherished it, as you can see from your entire family's perspective. :goodvibes :hug:

Congratulations! It sounds like you had a fabulous time :wizard: Thanks for sharing, and thanks to your son for sharing his pictures!

I have to admit, that thought crossed my mind, too!! :flower3:
Was it an afternoon flight that you were scheduled to be on?
Edited to add:
You are fast at responding, LOL, and that was well worth the price for everyone on your 'team.' :) Good call! :yay:

Further edited to add: And thanks, we will certainly keep an eye on your report thread as well as your son's report. :)

I would have replied sooner, but I just returned from the airport. Now that Tommy is back, I'm sure he'll be back at his report on Visions Fantastic soon.

And originally, we were scheduled for a 9 p.m. flight on the return Sunday night, which was changed to a 4 p.m. flight on Monday. Gotta love Southwest's flexibility and reasonable fares. If changing the flights was going to cost too much, I probably would have declined the suite. I know that sounds weird, but I have a very practical nature.

Rocketeer;

Contrats on the win, that is awesome. Glad you had a wonderful time !!!!

:woohoo: :woohoo:

We were at the park on that same day, too! I haven't had time to read your son's report, but I'm going to later! May I ask about what time it was when they approached you in FL?

Thanks for sharing your story. Looks like you and your DS enjoyed your day at DL & the Dream Suite.

I'm not exact, but I'm thinking about 8:40 a.m., because by 9:05, we had gone back to Main Street, watched the DVD showing what dream was won, and I had changed my flights and Super Shuttle reservation.
