We are looking for some ideas of some nice places to stop off for the evening on our way to Disney. Traveling with children any suggestions out there of places before the Fl. border off of 95.

Are you looking to stop in Georgia? Last time I zipped through that section of 95 it seemed pretty empty. You may as well stop in Savannah/Hilton Head or keep on trucking.

You didn't say where you were starting from but St. Augustine's in Florida is a nice place to visit.

We always stop at St Marys GA (exit 3) there are plenty of nice motels and resturants, the next day Disney is only about 3 hours away!

We have DVC friends who make the trip at least twice a year and always stay in Kingsland GA which just over Fla.-GA. border. They stay at Comfort Suites and say it is very nice. In the morning a cont. breakfast is included but its more than typical cont breakfast. Lots of choices.
We are staying there on the way back from next trip. Its 3 hrs approx from WDW. They also say to gas up here as gas is a lot more in Fla.
Seems to me the transportation board has some great info on this subject. It should be at the top of page. Good luck and have fun!!

We always stop over in Brunswick, GA. WDW is 3 hours from there.

Last time we stayed at the Fairfield Inn in Brunswick, GA. It seemed new, had comfortable rooms, good rates and a free continental breakfaat the next morning. It took 3 hours to get to WDW from there.
We're planning on staying there again next time.:D

We always stop at Kingsland GA. As others have said fill up your gas tank in GA. The Florida welcome center is just a few minutes into FL and they have free OJ.

We always stay at the Embassy Suites in Brunswick, GA. It is physically attached to a mall, so you can walk around to work out the kinks. The mall has several restaurants including a Ruby Tuesday. The hotel room is actually 2 separate rooms. A bedroom with 1 or 2 beds and a second "living area" with sofa bed and chair. It's perfect with kids! Also the hotel has a manager's reception each night with free drinks and snacks. And in the morning there is a free cooked to oder breakfast. I always look forward to our stop there.
