A nice dinner for me & DH

Last year we had dinner at Napa Rose at the chef's counter - great experience! Looking for a nice place for one dinner this year - anything new? And why is my counter wrong? We leave for DLR on Monday, LOL!

Ha well, you've already had "the best of the best" in my opinion, but there are some other options of course Carthay Circle is new and has a rather "refined" menu... There is always Steakhouse 55 as well.

Ralph Brennan's was excellent! The tableside presentation of Banana's Foster...which they invented....was fun and very tasty

Will you have a car? If so, look into The Ranch (on Ball Rd. at West). It is a relatively new, upscale restaurant, with some former members of the Napa Rose team on staff. I've heard that the wine list is excellent, and so is the food.

I haven't been there in several years, but if you have a car, I used to enjoy Orange Hill, which isn't too far.
