*A New Year, A New You ~ Aug/Sept Dieting Thread*

Hi Can I join in?? ;)
I have lost 12.5lbs up to now following the slimming world plan, I'm now the lightest I have ever been in yrs,
although this is hindering me as I'm now faltering on the diet as I can fit in to more of my clothes more comfortably but still have another stone to lose yet.
so basically I need to get a grip of myself :mad:

I've lost a pound today, which is a bit of a disappointment, but then again it was my ds's birthday yesterday and there was some cake....yum....

Only a pound to go to get me into the next stone number, so trying to just set myself small goals like that.

I've lost just over 3 stones now, and whilst that's great, according to the bmi/height/weight charts I still have between 1 and 2 stones to go. Everyone keeps saying I don't need to lose any more, and I'm getting a bit fed up with it to be honest....I think I'm losing focus because of all the nice comments, but I know I need to lose more :upsidedow

So, on with it. Hope you all have a great week folks :cheer2:

I find the people who say "you've lost enough" are secretly a little jealous!

Stick with it and once you've reach the ideal weight status on the BMI charts then choose a target to stop at

I love to hear great weight loss results - keeps me motivated!

I'm a stone over weight but as I'm tall (almost 6ft) I can carry it well so my friends keep commenting that there's no need for me to diet at the same time trying to force feed me chips! :rotfl2:

They're all skinny minnies so I keep telling myself they're jealous I'm going to join them!
 

Only 1lb off this week - it's going very slow!
 
An STS for me this week. I was expecting a gain to be honest as had a long weekend away from work which involved cake Friday (I ate nothing but croissants and cake all day. I was a a big horse show in the poring rain!) Subway on Saturday and biscuits, chocolate and cake yesterday!
Thankfully (for my waistline!) I'm back in the office this morning and back to healthy eating! Hope everyone else has a successful week x

Don't give up hope, a few STS weeks normally result in a bigger loss when it does happen. Keep at it, it'll be worth it in the end pixiedust:

Thank you. I was so determined but having a naughty two days for mine and DH birthdays I have tasted the good stuff and want it again ha ha.

I've just weighed in and lost 1.5 which I'm happy with :cool1: I'm into another stone number now, and 4lbs to go to my next half stone. My group leader set a target for me today, so I've got 1 stone and 10lb to reach it.

I keep saying this, but I'm really going to start exercising this week. I am so lazy, I do nothing :rotfl: I've got a really good treadmill in the house so I'm giong to force myself to do 30 minutes every other day, starting tomorrow (and the band played beleive it if you like :lmao:)

Keep going everyone - we could be a couple of stones lighter for Christmas! :goodvibes

I'm joining a gym the week after next with a friend as we take our kids to a swimming club 3 nights a week and have to wait at least an hour for them. There's a gym there so we're going to do that while we wait. Sounds great in theory - I'll tell you if the theory works 3 weeks in.........:rotfl:

Hopefully that will help shed the 9lbs I need to reach target!

after rather unsuccessfully joining this thread before I'm back with T-34 days until our holiday.
So.... not enough time for 2.5 stone off :confused3 :laughing:
...but any loss will be a good loss and will generally make me feel better and ready for cupcake and crispy treat heaven
 
Finally reporting back with some good news 2lb gone this week YAY !!! 1lb away from losing a stone with slimming world and I have now lost 20lb in total. :) feeling a lot more positive this week.
