A new wrinkle on 180+10?

This week was my first time making my reservations on the "new" site, so maybe what I'm seeing is already well-known. (Couldn't get the old site to associate with my resort reservation for some reason. We used that great tip to make our September reservations, back when the new site was worse off than it is now.)

But I'm noticing that the new site doesn't open up a full ten-day window on day 180. For any days past my check-out date, I get an error message when trying to search for availability. The old site didn't care when my stay ended, and today I was still able to make reservations beyond check-out by calling later in the day.

I can see where this might be an issue for split-stay folks, of whom I am almost always one.

Tomorrow my window opens up for the second part of my stay, so I will do some more experimenting to see if I again am limited to the dates of my registered stay.

The same is happening to me today.

Somehow I was fortunate this morning (through great trials) and got ADRs for almost everything I wanted, 180 +10.

Sometimes, even on the old site, it would not recognize my +10 days, so I would scroll to the bottom of the page and click on "My Reservations" and it would say I had them, and then I would go all the way again to the restaurant I wanted, and it WOULD go through.

This evening I would really like a better time for one of my restaurant ADRs. But neither website will recognize that I have 180 +10, so I can't even find out if there are more times or not. I've spent 30 minutes trying to make it work, to no avail.

Well, here's one way I made it work for me.

"Incognito window" or clear cookies.

Go in through the old site, find the restaurant and you're ready to click the calendar over to your date. Before I did that, though, I went to the top of the page where it asks you to sign in.

When I signed in, it took me to the new website.

BUT I just clicked the back arrow till I got back to the restaurant on the old site, and it then recognized the 180+10.

Crazy, but it worked.
