Hi we just returned from a wonderful 8 days at the Poly. We came up with a new use for the Mickey Heads. My husband had picked up a couple too many from Home Depot, I didn't want to throw them out so we brainstormed. We got some magnet sheets and cut out the shape and applied the heads with glue. We then stuck them to the frame outside our door, the frame was steel so they stuck. We had enough for the members in our family.
The other heads we cut out and I had brought some paper clips, we wrote on the heads with markers Thank You. We put our mousekeeping tips on the dresser and clipped the Mickey heads to the tip. just another fun way to spread the magic.:wizard:

Love those ideas! No one swiped any of your magnets though? Maybe I just think everyone is out to get me. :rotfl2: I have a few too many, too. I was going to use a hole punch to punch holes in the ears and string them together with, well, string :lmao: and use them like garland in my windows (2 rooms). But I like your magnet idea better.

No one swiped any heads. One day as I was leaving a little girl was reaching up to touch one and I asked her if she wanted it and she said yes. I gave her one and she grabbed it and ran to her room.
Now the funny thing is someone always rearranged the Mickey's around the door. My kids say it wasn't them so I really don't know, anyway it was fun to see where they all were when we got back.:rotfl:

Oh, do you believe I never thought of taking pictures of it! That would have been nice, I guess we were to busy coming or going. Next year.:goodvibes

I did this also and it helped the kids feel a little more comfortable knowing they got the right room, Of course near the end of our trip we found two more doors down the hall and round the corner with LGMH magnets also :lmao:

Suggestion:

When making the Mickey heads into magnets, personalize them in some way (not too personal, though - Johnson Family or something vague like that, or just your DIS screen name). Personalized LGMH are far less likely to be stolen, and will also differentiate you from the hordes of other DISers who have them on their doors!
