Thank you! Every year I need to qualify on my firearm.

DH came home last night and seems to be doing okay. He is on a very heavy dose of steroids and many other drugs and is seeing one doctor or another every day it seems but it is good to have him here at home.

The current diagnosis is some sort of auto-immune disorder from a virus that he contracted in July. The pulmonologist seems to feel that the steroids will dry up the fluid that still fills about 1/2 of one lung and that some other testing he needs done on an out-patient basis may give additional relief to his heart problems. This all will probably lead to additional problems such as joint issues according to several specialists but we will see.

It's hard to believe that a year ago this week we were driving through Banff National Park on the Icefields Parkway and I was hiking, taking photos and we were enjoying ourselves as we celebrated our 40th anniversary.

Here's a shot of that beautiful trip; I need it to remind myself that we will travel again!

I went to Banff in 2002, sorta, lol. Would love to go back there it was so beautiful.

Kathy you've got a lot on your plate. Getting to the bottom what's going on with your DH is the most important part of the process. It's been a year??? I remember your ticker and saying Happy Anniversary SO Happy Anniversary again.

I qualified, thank you God and thank you Bosco I'm done for another year!

Yes, I am thinking about going to someone to talk about all that's going on. I haven't shared all my frustrations, concerns here and it's really eating me up and I don't want to take it all out on DH.
