Time for my daily update; I miss playing the games here :)

DH is still in Intensive Care but his color is better and he is walking around in the room now. His drain around the heart is still in and I don't think they will move him until it comes out. His blood pressure is apparently more stable too.

I am now back at work about six hours each day; have to with being in charge of training six new agents next Wednesday. Then I go over to the hospital which is only 5 minutes away and spend about 4 - 5 hours with DH.

DS spends the mornings with him and they are very close so that's good. If only the cat could visit things would be almost perfect! She walks around the house crying for hours for him. She is so used to sitting in the window next to him and his computer as he plays online....

I'll touch base if anything big happens!

Kathy

Missing you on the games too, but you know what you have to do. Praying for your whole family.

I am glad to hear he is doing better. We miss you, but your DH comes first. Will continue prayers, hoping he comes home soon. Thanks for the update! Hope everyone else is doing well.

Thanks Willow and Jo!

DH was moved to a regular room last night, still has a chest drain and is being heavily monitored for irregular heartbeats and fluctuating BP. After taking Ambien, he is finally sleeping a bit but doctors won't give a discharge date yet.

At least he is in a nice room now; actually a huge suite with several chairs and a sleep sofa etc. It's a corner room with three windows, a huge bathroom and a desk etc. It feels like heaven after that cramped ICU room for four days.

Back to a few games and then to work before going over to spend the evening with DH!

Have a nice weekend everyone and thanks so much for the good thoughts and prayers!

Kathy

Thanks for the daily updates Kathy. Keep them coming but only if you have time, :grouphug:

We brought DH home today. He had the surgical drain removed and his blood pressure settled down.

He is now on cumidin which scares the dickens out of him and will be required to attend classes and see a cardiologist. He should have been seeing a cardiologist all the years he was on blood pressure meds but his primary practice missed all the obvious signs of major problems.

He is very cranky but I am trying to be tolerant. After all, he has been through a life crisis; we all have been through one :)

That is great news, I am sure it is a relief to have him home. I will continue praying. Make sure you get some rest. Thank you for the update!

Glad to hear your DH is home Kathy. I will keep praying for his recovery.
