A milestone from years past........

Way too many years ago, I was in the U.S. Army.

I was an Infantry Officer, and when I graduated from Infantry Officer Basic Course, we participated in the traditional parade to graduation. As a part of this parade, we were given brand new gun belts. This belt got stored away in an old duffle bag and forgotten for many years. About 2 years ago, I found it again, and was COMPLETELY disgusted by the fact that it was nowhere NEAR possible to put this belt on. I had never realized how my waistline had expanded so badly. This belt was quickly re-hidden.

Well, I dragged that very same gun belt out into daylight again..........and I'll be darned if it doesn't fit!!!!

Not that this makes me want to get stupid and jump out of planes again, but it made me smile to think that I had once again found my feet!!!
