Weather ~ mainly dry but cloudy 58*F
A Merry Mickey Christmas INDEX
Today we were going horseriding so we were up early for breakfast and ready to check in at 9:30am for our 10am ride at the Tri Circle D Ranch at Fort Wilderness.

Unfortunately I haven't got many photos as you have to put all your belongings in a locker but the horses are all well cared for and in great condition (not that I was expecting anything less from Disney) and the stables were clean and tidy.

Afterwards we took a walk through the campground to the store. We seemed to be the only ones walking ~ everyone else was zipping around in electric carts, they looked fun! Many families had decorated their pitch for Christmas.

We headed back to the hotel and spent the afternoon in the pool and jacuzzi then drove to Downtown Disney. We were starving having not eaten anything since breakfast so headed straight to Earl of Sandwich where we had a mix of chicken caesar wraps and Hawaiian BBQ sandwiches.
After doing some shopping we decided we'd go up in the Characters in Flight balloon as we'd been up in the sister one at Disneyland Paris and it was a great experience.

The queue was much slower moving than we'd thought and it took nearly an hour before we moved into the loading bay but we'd got to that stage that we'd queued for so long that we might as well see it through! Every cloud has its silver lining and ours was that whilst we were waiting we could see Wishes in the distance! We got a fabulous view from up there ~ even in the dark it was very easy to make out the Epcot ball, the Swan and Dolphin hotels, the Tower of Terror and the Miss Tilly boat at Typhoon Lagoon. We could even pick out our hotel because we could recognise the beacons in front of it.
We did some more shopping and Bryan bought me a new necklace and earrings from Arribas Brothers as a belated Christmas present.

The girls were still peckish and the smell of fries from Cookes of Dublin was too much for them to resist
