I don't want my dues paying to re-theme a perfectly fine pool area. I like the clown - creepy, glowing eyes and all. If it means fewer people are competing for rooms there because they hate clowns, I say "Send in the clowns!".

I don't like the clown either, and in January our room looked straight out at it. It didn't make me like BWV any less. I just closed the curtains at night-- All the way.

I don’t mind the clown, but I really like the roller coaster theme of the slide. I would not object if they wanted to just change the clown part to something else, but leave the coaster alone.

We’re staying at BWV for the first time in November. I can’t wait to watch Kids pop out of the clowns mouth.

That clown is the main reason I can't talk my family into staying at the Boardwalk. It doesn't bother me but my 2 kids and wife are creeped out by it.

The same percentage of people that did not like clowns when the resort and pool were built do not like clowns now. Why retheme after 20+ years.

I’ve stayed at most of the deluxes. In fact, now that I think about it, I’ve stayed at all of them....except Boardwalk. I think I’d only stay there in the winter because I couldn’t do that pool with the clown. Just no. I watched the newer version of It with my son a couple months ago. Just look at that clown. “Hiya, Georgie.”

My family and I have never minded the clown, but I know there are many people who do. We actually prefer the clown pool to SAB.

I actually like all of them just fine but I love floating in the pool with a noodle so the BW quiet pool wins. Lazy rivers are terrific, especially large ones like the Hilton Bonnet creek one. I find the SAB lazy river too small and way too deep. But it looks good lol.

I am totally creeped out by clowns and dolls!! That clown pool was so creepy in pics until we stayed there. It didn't bother me so much when we were face to face! I would still be ok if it wasn't there as long as the actual slide stays. It is the best slide at Disney!!

Yep! When you really think about that poor clown and what it deals with all day long, it's hard to be scared of it.

I'll never understand adults being afraid or hating clowns. Just a person with make up, no big deal. Pennywise didn't even scare me as a kid. Besides, a lot of kids, like clowns...
