A long shot, but wouldn't it be great!

My dad today says "if we did a 50th anniversary cruise, where would you want to go?"
Mom says "oh I don't want to do that".
I say "I'd do a western with Key West, Cayman and Cozumel". Mom says "Oh that doesn't sound too bad". They did a carnival once and didn't like it. I brought up Disney cruises. They went with us to WDW last summer. I didn't tell them that we have already put a deposit down for ourselves, because DD#2 was in the room an we aren't telling the kids yet.
His plan, if it goes, would be for all of us to go--the 5 of us, mom and dad, plus my sister, BIL and two girls. This would be in July of 04--their ann. is 7/17; we booked 7/3-10 because it worked out better for summer activities. I'm sure they'd let us celebrate a golden anniversary a little early!
I did call later and tell him about it--he kind of wanted to go Eastern because Mom liked St. Thomas when they went there years ago, plus they'd never been to St. Maarten--I told him I had, plus they'd never been to ANY of the western destinations. Plus I know for a fact he didn't like the days at sea, and there is one fewer on the western.
I'm taking him my brochure later but he hasn't mentioned anything to my sister yet either.
BTW--we have two secret porthole rooms now since we have 3 kids. If we all went, we could book 3 rooms that hold 4 people since DS could bunk with my parents. They might even want verandahs!
I hope he likes the info--he is also talking about taking us to Ireland or something--which would be great, but DH would NOT do that and a cruise because of his job, so that would mean dropping the cruise! :(

Disney would definitely let you celebrate early! Make sure they know it is a 50th too.
