again thanks guys, but alot of ppl have been saying it.
im scared bc my friend said i called him a bad word on vmk with caps.
now idk if that is true or not but im still having problems with my account.
im able to log on my last account just not i.Sunset.

Well it sounds like somebody may have logged into your VMK account. But I'd be willing to bet it is by somebody you know. This happens all the time...apparently. Heck, my daughters log into my account occasionally without me knowing it and change my signature.

The difference between the other games is that they are actively being played not just being developed at the whim of the closing of VMK.

So we probably should not talk about Fairies or Cars, nor any other game that is in development by Disney.

As to "the site who must not be named", I suspect things may change later on. I have been on the DIS for years and I have always applauded their "cautious, let's wait and see" approach. If "you know who" turns out to be a viable site and a new home for VMK orphans, this may change and discussion may be permitted then.

Remember, Cars and Fairies, while upcoming sites, are still Disney properties and have the full quality assurance of the Disney corporation behind them. As Disney properties, discussion of them certainly belongs on the Disney forums. "You know who" at this time is still an unknown.

Actually, I can understand the caution the DIS is providing with this. The other difference is that Fairys and Cars and any others in development are in development by a major corporation. Other site is not being developed by a company that we know of.

That being said, I did just sign up for it.

For all it's worth, sorry to hear that you aren't able to log into an account that is so important to you. Hope the whole thing gets resolved.

I think you have a skewed idea of what a moderator is. First off, at least on the Disboards, the mods do not delete at their 'whim'. This is not that other forums.
It's not just about 'protecting' us. It's more about the way this game developer went about gathering new players. He did not ask permission to post here, nor did he have permission to post on the other fan sites, which resulted in all of his posts being deleted, from all fan sites. Secondly, he was not an active member of any fan sites, so he had zero credibility with the administrators.
You say we should be able to discuss any alternatives to vmk. Sure, we are, actually. Any 'in existance' are fair to discuss. That other copycat vmk is not yet open, so there's nothing to discuss. Fair enough? Added: I agree with the previous posters regarding discussion about Cars and Fairies, because they are Disney games, however, you'll notice not much is being discussed because they have yet to become available.

Back to the OP's problem. It could very well have been an accidental deletion. Contact Disney and request it be looked into. This has happened to others in the past.

But see the other games you have stated under development of Disney, so since this is a Disney Forum of course it will be discussed, without any question. An apples and oranges comparison, even if EA Games, a known producer of video games, if they were developing a MMORPG game, I am sure we would be able to discuss it. Such is not the case, no live examples no past history to prove it and besides seriously doubt a large developer of MMORPG game is going to come here to request our support of it.

reffering to me (which i was not on at the time) calling somebody a bad name in caps. made me get worried bc i thought someone had hacked.
the thread that goodsilverpirate had gave me has been helping me calm down bc im reading it and it seems like you all had the same problem i am having.

I, my son, my mother, my father and my 3 sisters signed up on the Site That Must Not Be Named. My son and I were in the first wave of sign-ups, and my mother, father and sisters were signed up yesterday.

None of us have had any problems with other sites, and we don't expect to.

Not so far. There was a confirmation screen after the sign-up, though, and I'm expecting that they'll probably e-mail us all a little bit closer to the opening date.

See you there too, Mnementh!! I'm really excited that so many of us have signed up. If this pans out, it will go a long way in helping to heal the hurt over VMK, at least for my family. I'll miss my pairs of ears like crazy, but if I can recreate my friends list, I'll be ok.

I hope the mods leave this up about "The Site That Must Not Be Named". We talk about EVERY other MMORPG out there without a problem. Censorship of information is not cool in my book.

I sure have been hoping that discussions would open up for us to talk about. I would love to know what others think and hope about the site as I too might think it will be a valid site.

I've begun to think of this site as in terms of the Harry Potter. Site which cannot be named! I've never even read all the books, but this is what this reminds me of!

The owners of the mentioned site broke a DIS rule and are not welcome to advertise on this web site. Has nothing to do with censorship. I am sure they will expect people to follow their rules on their site, we would expect the same here.

This topic is done. This forum is to discuss VMK. If you wish to discuss other games, not including websites who violated the DISboards rules and regulations feel free in the VMKCB.
