A little OT... regarding passport...

Had a bit of a panic when i couldnt find my passport eventually found it and its up in May. We are going to DLRP in November. I have heard it needs to be 6 months before your passport is up in some countries. Anyone experienced this in Paris before??

DD1's passport was up a couple of weeks after we went in April and no one mentioned it. I did check up on the regulations before we went and it is only certain countries that seem to insist on the 6mth rule. I think travelling within the EU you should be safe enough.

As long as your passport is valid for date of return you should be fine

I think the 6 months mark is for non EU citizens who need to get a visa. I remember when I travelled on my Macedonian passport I couldn't go to Italy because my passport was about to expire in 2-3 months.

You should be ok.

It was me that posted before, but just wanted to say you might want to check with your airline if you're flying. I asked at the post office, just to make sure and they said you need to check with the French Embassy (which say as long as it's valid for your return it's fine) but also the airline as most have their own seperate regulations.
