A little late...9/20 Dream review,

What was it about the food at Serenity did you not care for? What kinds of items were on the menu?
Barbeque menu as usual. I had a hamburger which was really bad, tough and chewy. I only ate 1 bite of it. The side salads were all very bland and dry. My wife had a vege-burger she did not finish either, very plain was her comment. They had a steak, and a chicken available as well, but did not try. We also did not eat at cookies, we were at the serenity bay bbq

We cruise on Oct 11, thanks for the info. To clarify, Taylor Mason was on a Dream 4 night sailing? This would be amazing! We love him! He totally made our 7 night cruise a couple years ago.

On the Sept 27th Dream cruise Lynn Trefzrger was the ventriloquist onboard. Her show was the first night in the WDT

All 4 nights were listed as cruise casual. You are welcome to dress up any night you wish, as some people did.

That is what confused me onboard our Dream cruise. I packed pirate stuff and I thought it was going to be the night of the fireworks (which I did not like BTW) as dress was listed as casual and not pirate. It was also the night they did the adult Mousequerade Party out on deck so I thought it was the Halloween night and pirate night would be the next night. Lo and behold I go to dinner and all the servers are in their pirate outfits. I thought in past that they listed pirate night dress as pirate wear so never wore our pirate stuff.

I though the fireworks were not as good at all as previous fireworks onboard. Many of them were duds and it was a very short show.

Yeah, there seems to be some confusion about Halloween and pirates. I expected the second night to be Halloween and the third night to be pirates. But actually, the third night was both Halloween (Mousequerade) and pirates (show at dinner, fireworks). I don't know why they put both things on the same night. The Halloween drinks of the day were still on the second night, though. None of it made any sense to me.

And yeah, the fireworks show was quite short. The dance party after was OK, but again shorter than usual.

Just back from last week's Dream. Our ship was 35% capacity (same as priors), and I heard it was increasing to 50% starting the next sailing (sailing 10/8). Minimal lines, no feeling of being rushed or missing something, lots of characters to see, CC double dip really made this a great cruise!
