Hi everyone, need a little help! We're planning to go to Disney, September 10-13 for the D23 Expo and for Disneyland. We usually stay at HoJo but looking for something a little closer to the Convention Center. Anyone have any suggestions for the following preferences:

Around $100 range, close walk to both Convention Center and Disneyland, NO parking fees (I've noticed a lot of hotels charge now!)

Thanks in advance!

Did a quick Kayak search- not too many options that fit the bill. Portofino Inn does, but not too sure about the quality. Perhaps just focus on total price with parking figured in? The Annabella would be under $100 with parking. Hope that helps.

The Ramada Plaza is a bit over that right now (before taxes :( ) but they may have deals. I know we didn't pay nearly that when we stayed there, but that was also 2005. They say they have free parking, and I've stayed there once and visited another time and it was fine. Beds were firm but I didn't think they were bad (someone on Trip Advisor said they thought a top sheet had been put over a slab of concrete, and I just didn't see that).

I've walked from the Convention Center to there, and also to and from Disneyland while staying there for several nights. So if you find something else in the area it might be fine. I'd certainly try somewhere else before paying over $100 plus tax to stay at the Ramada Plaza, but it wasn't awful.

Good luck!

There are two Best Westerns right over there. Not sure on the prices though.. Not the Park something one, that's on the other side of the park. But two others...

We booked our stay long ago, when we bought our Haunted Mansion anniversary tickets, at the Anaheim Marriott right at the convention center, its like right up against the side of the building. We got our room for like $80 bucks (I love Marriott!). After that the D23 convention was announced and we have joined that now too so we will be doing both on our Sept trip. I think those rates went up when D23 was announced though but you could check it out.

The Best Western Stovall's Inn is right across the street from the convention center. Regular rates for that time are $90-$98 a night, but if you have AAA you can get a discount through the AAA website. It's not "luxurious", but it is safe, clean, has 2 pools & 2 hot tubs, free continental breakfast, and parking is included. Here's a link to their website: http://www.stovallsinn.com/

Have fun on your trip!!!

have to put in my vote for Portofino inn loved it :)
No parking fees and they have online specials, when we went they had a 69$ deal for 2 queens( not sure if they will have any for your dates, but worth a try)...and close to the convention center :)

Thanks everyone for your responses! I'll definitely look in on all your suggestions. I tentatively made a reservation for Courtyard Marriott, it's a little ways away and doesn't fit any of my preferences fully but it will have to do for now. Hotel rates are sky rocketing right now since the expo tickets went on sale!
