A little help for buying a bathing suit please.

If you go to the Speedo website too, Amanda Beard has a line of suits that are bikini, but a little sporty and seem to have more "support" than a string bikini. I have never personally bought one, and when I've looked they were expensive, but they were cute!

Lands End has GREAT suits for those who are large chested. I have worn their suites for years and they hold up really well.

Lands End makes great quality items but I'm sorry...those are not the bathing suits a younger girl wants to be seen in. Venus ,Victoria's Secret or Ujena are all good bets.

My DD16 needs a suit. She is rather well endowed but in excellent shape so she wants a two piece suit. She does not want a tankini. She wants to show off her abs (well she's worked hard on them so why not). On the other hand every single bikini she tried on does not provide the kind of coverage and support on top she needs. The suits that provide this coverage are deemed too "old-ladyish".

So, where can I find "cute" and "young" suits that will support a D cup top and look good on a size 6 bottom?

i have the same problem with my daughter. except she's a C (maybe D by now ;)) cup and a size 3 bottom...and she's only 13. :scared1:

she usually swims in short and a tank top. we have searched and searched and searched for the right suit but they just aren't "right" for her figure and age. either old lady style or too revealing :confused3 thank god she still wants to be covered up some!!!!

I would check the newport-news website ( I think it's www.newport-news.com), they let you buy each piece separately and there are good styles to mix and match. It's also not grandma-ish and the prices are good.

If she's got size D b**bs, she's going to want underwire support (heck I'm a B and I want underwire support), and they have a lot of good choices and cool colors.

I suggest this as well:thumbsup2 Lots of good support and many mix and match styles so you can buy small on bottom but big on top.

Well I heard of this trick from Tyra Banks years ago. Wear 2 bikini tops to get support and the 2nd top will give you a little extra coverage. It's a thought.

ok i take it back.....she was looking over my shoulder when i was looking at suits on venus swimwear and she liked SO many bikinis!! guess she'll be wantin to show some skin now....

I would suggest maybe something with a sports bra type top or like a racerback. Good luck with your search:goodvibes

Just ordered 2 suits from Venus. I hope they fit. One of them is non-refundable.
