A little girl named Hannah

Hannah and her family will be sailing Sunday on the Wonder thanks to the Make A Wish Foundation and I just wondering - I spoke with the parents of Hannah (what an adorable little girl - she looks like a princess) and was telling them that they should attend the dismeet aboard the Wonder and meet the great folks on this board that just makes a cruise so extra special - if they had any questions, if they needed something that there wasn't a better group to hang with. Hannah's daddy didn't even tho these threads existed until Andy our VM sent him a link - which I want to add a very special thanks to Andy and Hazel that found out about Hannah and sent not only postcards, but a special shirt to wear - Friends like Andy and Hazel are such a Godsend to so many of us so Andy thank you for all that you did for Hannah and her family - this is the first time the Smith family are going on a vacation since Hannah was born so its going to be extra special.
Anyhow just wanted to say that if you can post where the meet will be, I know Andy will forward it to Hannah's dad since I don't know how to do it.

I just wanted to suggest that they tell DCL when they check in and again at guest services.....that they are on a "Wish" trip.

Our family went on a wish trip for our youngest daughter this past fall...The trip itself was enough...but come to find out (on our last night) DCL did "special" activites for wish families.

The whole topic of us being on a wish trip was brought up by a casual conversation as to if Cinderella would be at the final farwell. We were saying that our daughters "wish" was to see Cinderella...and so far we had missed her through the whole cruise. It was then the cast member asked if we were in contact with so and so on the ship..who handled wishes for wish familes....I think she could tell by our blank stare ...that we had no idea of what she was talking about....

Come to find out or wish foundation didn't do much in the area of fine tuning the wish. I had thought at check in to mention the fact that were were on our daughters wish trip...but decided to just let it ride...I really wish now that I would have said something earler in the Cruise.

Wishing her the best...for a magical trip. And her and her family to come home full of happy memories of a wonderful family vacation.

We're on the Wonder this Sunday. Our daughter is 10 and would love to hang out with another girl. Do we know how old Hannah is? This is so funny ( not the ha ha kind). Our daughter's favorite doll when she was little was Hannah. Please tell Hannah that Kate and Brett would love to meet her.

I sincerely thank each and all for the imput on Hannah - Hannah just turned 7 years old January 27th, but missed her birthday due to being very ill and in the hospital - her brother Michael is 8 years old and wiser beyond his years - he is Hannah's bodyguard -loves his sister and very compassionate and protective with her - when you meet this family, you will find out more - Hannah has nothing that is catching by the way -

anyhow thanks to those for looking over this family - I know that each of you will be there for any of those that feel "lost" - there is nothing like family and that is what this place is - FAMILY.

Its is beautiful outside -well I mean the wind is not blowing as bad and it isn't as cold -----man oh man we hit the jackpot or so it seems --the past few days had been blowing so hard - thought at first Frances had found her way back here, but it is better.

EVERYONE HAVE A SAFE WEEKEND AND IF YOU ARE CRUISING-WISH I WAS THERE.

I spoke to Hannah's mom this morning and they were getting ready to go to the airport --she was saying that this was the most excited she had seen both Hannah and Michael in a very long time ----it will be so good for all of them to get away and play "Let's Pretend" if only for a little while ----Chris (Hannah's mom) said when she was at the doctors with Hannah, he wrote her a prescription that said "RELAX AND HAVE FUN" ---I know she and her hubby Michael will sure have enough new friends to do so.

If I know you the way I think I do....Hannah will be one happy little girl. Your baskets are amazing and I know you put your heart into each of them. If anyone knows how to put a bright spot into someones world...it's you.

Robert is completely off the chemo, no pills any longer. Time to keep my fingers crossed.

I wish Hannah and her family a week of nothing but relaxation and magic to help them forget there everyday chaos...... I know god will shine down on this girl and make this one heck of a trip.

We think of you often Shirley....please pass along our prayers to Hannah and her family.

Have a WONDERful cruise everyone!!! I just received an e-mail from Hannah's dad, they were getting ready to board the bus that will take them to the DCL Terminal. They are ALL so excited about this cruise and I think they are going to try and make the DISmeet at 3pm!!!!!!!!!
