OK,

This is purely for fun - although hopefully will provide of some interest to others planning visits

The rules are:
1) Your cast are a family of 4 - two adults, two children (under 11).
2) You have to stay in either a Disney hotel, or a partner hotel (ie Holiday Inn etc).
3) You must provide transport, hotel and park entry.
4) For the purpose of the 'rules' you are NOT a shareholder - or Annual Pass holder - hence no discounts are available (although your park entry can be to purchase AP's).
5) The date range for the purpose of the rules are Monday 10th April 2006 - Friday 14th April 2006 (ie Easter Week) - 4 nights, 5 days
6) You should provide breakdown of costings - and the source.
7) You should, where possible include an 'hidden' costs -ie costs of shuttle buses from hotel to parks where known.

Enjoy!.

Is there any restriction to where you live?

If it was cheaper for instance could I pretend they lived in scotland

Whilst you location in the UK (World) will affect your transport pricing - the purpose of the 'game' (and there isn't a prize) is really to highlight the various options available that others haven't considered.

And as I recall a TV programme used to say "Don't phone - it's just for fun...!".

So basically you're trying to get everyone to do your shopping around for you??? Clever ploy!!! ;)

Hmm, I dont like rules but here's the cost of my trip....

£256!

2 Adults, 2x2 day hoppers, 3 nights at Formule 1 & Return Ferry.

Fuel, Food & souveniers tbc.

Oh...how hurt am I that you've decided I gone to that low level (well OK - the 'rules' were tailored around my own circumstances).

Seriously though, whilst the 'rules' are tailored around my own clan - it was really to highlight the different options to everyone - my bit to assisting with the desire of the group to visit their favorite place!.

I don't think anyone needs more encouragement to do that!!! But I agree, the range of options can be very confusing at times and sometimes the price differences with different packages can be considerable.

Oh , but were that true, I would be such a happy person - they would be sick of the sight of our family at DLRP - the biggest expense for us is getting off Shetland!!!!!!

Good thread Ian :goodvibes
