it was much higher when i first joined (around the time the dis was first born), but real life does need tending to sometimes <darn!>. i still check the boards daily tho - it is one of my favorite parts of each day

most of my posts are on dvc boards, a few on resorts, transportation, and budget boards.

It diminishes between trips. I plot and plan my trips & activites and then do a TR on that trip and after that I give it a bit of a rest until the next time. In the beginning, I was obsessed with the DIS, at least that's what my son, then 12 thought, I'm better now, honest I am. I haven't liked any of the other Boards enough to post or lurk.

I didn't even realize I'd gone over 7,000 posts!! OH BOY!!

OK, I am at 5.35 posts per day. I mostly split my time pretty evenly between the 3 DVC boards and the Cruise board...I also keep up with a couple of cruise meet threads so that probably boosts my average post count too. Trip planning with fellow cruisers can really ramp up the posts. Sometimes I'll visit other boards too (resorts, restaurants, transportation, DLP etc.)

Only 0.69 posts which surprised me. Probably 99% of those are on the DVC boards. I do read a lot of the posts and probably spend 1-2 hrs a day on the boards except for Sun/Mon when I'm at work for 13 hours.

I always worried that I would loose interest in Disney as time went on. Took our first family trip 6 years ago and am more obsessed now than ever!

Most of it on the DVC boards (although I bet the average is like 70+%, since my overall post count is low).

Also, I bet most of my posts revolve around some financial aspect of DVC, whether on these boards or resort boards. Although, I just read the ticket price threads and decided to keep quiet, but I did find it funny that we had discusions on here last month about increased tickets prices and now the complaining starts when the inevitable happened

Well, here is another tip you might or might know about. Go back out to the message board and click on the "Repies" number (underlined) and you can see who has posted to that thread and how many times they have posted. Pretty cool...

I'm at 1.64. Used to be over 2, but that was when we were going through ROFR and I was planning my first trip. I am still learning, so know I just like to read threads. Maybe I'll be an expert like some of you some day!Thanks for giving out great information and keeping me excited about my happy place! Now I have to force myself off dis to go run - that 1/2 marathon is fast approaching. I know it will be fun - we got the map and I'm so excited about running through the parks - but 13 miles!

Mine is 1.02, mostly on DVC boards, occasionally on the Disneyland board, and maybe a few on the Disney World boards. But I spend several hours a couple times a week catching up on DVC and DL threads.
I've neglected my other email account which mostly has newsletter and shopping emails because I could never know enough about Disney!

Me too, I'm always surprised when a thread is moved off of the DVC boards.

My score came out to 4.71. The scary part is that for 30 days in late April and May I didn't even post to the Disboards as I was on a cruise and didn't want to waste my internet minutes. It's so nice to be retired.
