A Little DVC Board Fun :)

On edk35's thread "Someone please YELL AT ME" one poster referred to her post total and said she was probably beyond help. It got me wondering how to quantify and compare how much time we spend here. Total counts tell some of the story, but many have been here a long time, and some just getting started. So, here is what I'm thinking. I would like to know your average posts per day. You can get this number by clicking you your username and then on the upper right area where the "Mini Stats" box is click on Show All Statistics and you will get to see your Post Per Day number. Mine is currently 3.76. Now, what percentage of your PPD do you estimate is spent on the DVC boards? I am 99%

So, 3.76 x .99 = 3.72

This means I post per day:

DVC boards = 3.72
On Others = .4
Total = 3.76

What's in YOUR totals?

And do you feel like your trend is that of escalating or diminishing?

I feel my trend is that of diminishing in the last year or two.

I was at 2.91 PPD. I spend about 4 hours a day on the DIS. It is my main hobby after work. I do not do Facebook or Twitter and this is more anonymous, plus more fun and informative.

I am at .63. After this one I will be up to .635 I spend a lot of time reading. There are so many more knowledgable people than me I tend to read and learn.

I wandered over to the RV Community board for a bit ... but it remains mostly trained on Fort Wilderness which I'll likely never visit by RV.

I'm 2.96 but I know I don't post as much as I used to but my time on the boards has definitely not diminished. too bad it doesn't track your average hours per day or maybe that's not such a good idea

I'm at 1.03 PPD. I would say that I do 99.99% of my posting on the DVC boards (I have had a couple on other DIS boards). I'm probably on the increase ....I'll have to check it in a month or so - like other posters, I never knew that info was right under my nose.

I'm only at 4.93 ppd since August 14, 1998. Not much change in the number of posts over the years but I no longer am able to read as many posts. At one time I read every post on all of the DVC boards every day.

1.44 after about a year on here...it is afun way to learn tips and kill time between trip tot WDW...only 86 days till our Halloween trip....my husband thinks I need a 12 Step Disney program!!!

I like DIS b/c it is a great way to help others plan their trip as well and share what you have learned...

1.6 posts per day. I would say it is a pretty steady trend. I would love to post more but my job keeps me very busy and I don't really get to DIS during the day : (

.5 posts a day but I have just started really reading the boards. So far most of my time has been spent on the DCL boards but I'm sure that will change. I can see my averages definitely increasing!
