A little DL funny for those annoyed with misbehaving teens

DH is at DL right now. I should mention that he's a former Army Sargent, and currently a Sp Ed teacher in a behavior classroom for 4th-8th grade boys. He appears pretty "tough" on the outside, but, like so many men, he's a completely softy inside. But he knows not to let the soft side show if it's not necessary

So, he's standing in line for a ride, and there's a teen yelling, at the top of his lungs, a racial slur followed by a few 4-letter words.... over and over and over.

He finally turned around, gave them the mean-teacher/serious-Sargent face, noted that they are in a family environment, and they needed to use appropriate language, or not talk at all.

Kid didn't open his mouth for the rest of the wait in line.

Good for him! I'm a 5'2 not at all intimidating looking lady but if I was there that teenager would have had an angry me in his face giving him a talking to about it. Swearing I don't care about (I know many here feel otherwise) but racial slurs are unacceptable and despicable.

Gold star for your husband! I would have reported that kid to a CM.Totally unacceptable behavior at DLR or anywhere else.

LOL! I'm just picturing someone like Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson turning around and that kid being like, "Oh crap!" lol

Teens can get so self consumed that they completely forget their manners. I'm not so far from my teen years that I've forgotten how cool I thought my friends and I were and how cool I thought everyone else must have thought we were .

I hope the reminder lasted longer than just the line they were in at the moment!
