Well see, that's the thing. The questions they asked were super easy, and I knew them perfectly. This one has stumped me as far as why I wasn't chosen to at least be considered ...

i sign up for this. and i know i am going to get the letter that you got with my luck this week, It is strange i haven't gotten it yet though. (of course in one of the anwsers i put blackbeard unstead of blackheart, what a loser!). I guess i am just a communtiy leader wanna be. (PUPPY!)

Thanks for posting, even the disappointing news. It will certainly help us all get a better sense of what the process is, if people like you are willing to post their experiences.

I wonder how much is "getting the answers right" on their questions, and how much is based on review of text transcripts during gameplay. And if the latter, I wonder if they just randomly look at random bits of text, or whether they search for particular text quotes.

I doubt they have the staff to have VMK staff "in disguise" try to find applicants and "pretend" to ask questions in the same room as applicants (although I think this is probably the best way).

There's much that is not known about what they are looking for, and how they look for it.

I am still waiting for an answer.

I replied to the questions and then got a message that they got my answers and would let me know in the next week. Then after a week I got the same message again. Now it's been a week since then and I haven't heard anything yet.

I also read on the VMK forums that some people got two sets of questions. Does anyone know if this was coincidence from sending in multiple applications, or is there a two tier application process?

It took me about a week and a half.

You're right,there has been a mass out break of cl's recently, including two of my friends, that's why I want to be one, and because I like helping people. But, my computer is always getting errors on there , so people would ask me for help, then I would have to leave, that's what would happen with my luck.

Honestly, I don't think there IS a system they are using to pick Community Leaders. Maybe darts?
