a little disappointed with SSR

Just wanted to vent and also ask so maybe can tell me if Im doing something wrong..

I finally made it to super member this qtr but Im getting a little disappointed as so far today is the 10th and I have only made .56 so far this month.. I have gotten I think 2 emails with links to do surveys and such and Ive done most of them but have only gotten credit for 1 of them for .35.. the other part of the .56 that Ive made was .05 for the welcome to sm email and the rest is mainly from the scratch off.. I havent been trying the daily surveys cause I normally cant get one to accept me.. and I havent been doing any signups.. I guess I just thought we'd get more "other" chances for extras thru emails.. not sure why I thought that.. I guess I just did..so do I need to concentrate on the sign ups and daily surveys??

I have just been dissapointed with them on the whole in general lately. When they first started out there were tons of paid clicks but now im lucky to get one per day. Im not a super member but just find it too hard to get credited for anything anymore. Im just a few dollars shy of cashing out 25 so im trying to do sign ups and surveys to at least get me there so I can cash out for a Walmart card or something. Anyway, ive just not been happy with them at all lately. The one thing I can say is the site is really easy to navigate where I find other sites bothersome.

The paid clicks is one of the things Ive noticed.. I think I have only gotten one so far this month.. whereas last month I was getting them left and right.. I thought the email said something about more paid clicks, more emails, etc and Im just not seeing it.. Ive earned just shy of $200 since March 31, and I havent devoted a whole lot of time to it, but just thought its been lacking this month..

Well I'm up to $22 doing freebie offers, surveys, and clicks/scratch off so maybe its what you are doing over there. I think though that you have to remember that emails and extras are not going on right now with Tricia on Vacation since before 4th and going to the summit. There could be a few things not crediting because its a manual credit and its just going to have to wait until she comes back.

Also make sure that you are doing your best to clear your cookies and files. Most of the time if you do that you have a chance at getting credit. Sometimes though advertisers track by IP addy and there is nothing you can do and no way to tell how they have tracked you. Its really just hit or miss and I find this on all sites not just SSR.

As far as the paid clicks go, both she and dmitry have commented that the advertisers have pulled most offers from being a free click because people just click and don't fill out the information on them which is what the advertisers want to see. Dmitry has said over on QR that they lose about 7 cents per person each day on the clicks they have as people don't put their info in and advertisers aren't paying for them. If you notice the ones Tricia puts up at SR usually have something like complete the offer and get an additional amount to try and get money from the advertisers for paid clicks.

I just went and checked my account and I have been paid for paid clicks on the website and also for email clicks at least once everyday this month so far. You also have to remember that they can't put up clicks if the advertisers arent offering them. With all of the advertisers at the Affiliate Summit there isnt anything going out right now. Frustrating I know but a necessary evil to get bigger and better offers and also more free offers for all of us to do. All of these sites are pretty much get what you put into it. Paid clicks go really fast and whenever they are up on SR the members who are on the SR forum get them very quickly because someone always catching them and reports them immediatly. You should see things start to speed up as the Affiliate Summit ends and Tricia gets back to her office and gets all of her new offers and advertisers and merchants going.

Part of all rewards programs is figuring out how to play the advertisers games. Unfortunately, the days of getting paid for simply "clicking" has pretty much gone away. Advertisers are looking for more than simply clicks.

I don't do many paid trials, just mostly freebies. Yet, I've made supermember 3 quarters in a row. It really is about what you put into it. Right now, unfortunately, one of the largest money makers is doing the daily surveys. Yes, they are EXTREMELY frustrating at times! But, the 80 cents a day adds up. And, if you can get enough to credit, the bonus is nice. If you are having trouble qualifying, try a new email addy or possibly maybe another family member will qualify. Often, my DH can qualify when I can't.

I am currently up to $17.82 this month:
Daily surveys: $3.20
Daily survey bonus: $5.00
Paid emails: .07
Shopping: $2.46
Daily scratchoff: .12
Paid clicks: .02
Freebie signups: $6.95

I'll start that again and cross my fingers..

I guess I just needed some motivation.. You guys know how to get me going again.. thanks cause I need as much as I can get for my upcoming WDW trip..

I know it can be frustrating, but you have to remember that Tricia has been away at the summit. So hopefully, that will mean better things to come. I think all Reward programs have been having issues that are being worked out. Hang on and give it chance. I agree it has been extremely slow this month, but it should get better. The surveys are a big pain, but can add a big amount to your total. Hang in there.

The surveys do tend to get frustrating.....I usally set a time limit per sitting...For example, I'll try for 20 minutes when I get up in the morning. If I'm not in within 20 minutes, I go about my business....when I have time to come back, I decide how long I can give it..clear cookies, history, etc and try again for that set amount of time....that helps my frustration some as it ends....it doesn't seem like I try FOREVER! So far I've done 5 this month...I know some people have lots better luck, but if I can get one every other day I feel good (plus there are some days when I just don't have time to try).

Since the survey interface has changed, I've had much better luck at getting surveys... surveys are a main part of my super member money... I need them if I want to qualify again... plus I'm trying to have enough to cash out at the special disney cashout later this month...so I'm motivated.

I've also been going back through all offers (16 pages of them) and trying to find 2 to 4 a day I didn't do before (I'm relatively new to doing offers, so there are offers I haven't done before), I just started on page 16 of all offers, and I'm only up to page 13, just doing a few a day to keep me going. Tricia pushed through a bunch of manual credits last night, so it was nice to see an extra $1+ in my account this morning.

I'm sure tomorrow or the next day we will see alot of new things on the site.

Hi, I was a little disappointed in the SM offers as well since I didn't know what to expect since this is my 1st quarter as one. However, I do think this has a lot to do with the summit and vacation time so I'm not too worried about it. Anyhow, I've earned $16.50 since July 1st, and only $1.08 of that was from shopping. The rest was from the survey bonus from last month ($3.00) & free offers, surveys and clicks. I've seen a paid click at least once a day for a couple of weeks now. And I agree that the surveys can be frustrating, but it's still worth it (at the increased rate and bonus). Hang in there - it'll get sunnier real soon once we hear all the news about the summit.

News from the SR forums. Tricia is home from the summit (after spending the night in the Atlanta airport). She worked on her laptop doing manual credits since she couldn't sleep. She is napping now, but will likely start rolling stuff out late today or tomorrow.

I just completed a survey. Do they get credited immediately, or how do I know if it went through correctly? (Because I don't see it in my account.)When I first started the survey I got a message saying that they were sorry but they were having technical difficulties, but then I hit the back button and a new survey popped up. After 2 tries there was a survey that I qualified for and at the end it told me I successfully completed it, but I just wanted to make sure everything was working okay since I'm new to all of this. Thanks for your help!

you should see credit tomorrow some time. Monday-Thurday surveys credit the next day, Friday-Sunday credit on Monday. You also have to wait to do the next survey 24 hours.

So glad you got one to work! They are frustrating at times, but not impossible. And, it sure is nice seeing your total jump up the next day! Tricia has already added a few new offers and from her post in the SR forum, she seems really pumped up with the info, offers, ideas, etc, that she came up with at the summit. That is what I love about SR the most. Tricia really loves what she does and it shows! She never seems to run out of new ideas.

I'm so sorry that you have not been happy with us. July is a tough time. There just isn't as much advertising money "flowing" during the summer because less people are online and most of the companies are gearing up for the holidays. Add to that the huge fraud drama that happened in June and it makes for a bad time all around. But I do have to say that I think we weathered it pretty well. So many other rewards sites were saying that they were having terrible months, and May and June were our biggest months ever. July has been slow going, but with all of the stuff from the Summit, it should pick up now.

I do know exactly how you feel. Sometimes I am just about to give up with a particular advertiser because they have been giving me very little for a couple of months. Then I have a huge month with them and feel much better about them. It all kind of ebbs and flows in this industry. But we're trying to make it a better experience.

Which ones are you doing?? Some offers have confirmation emails you have to click on and others you have to use different email variations. There are a lot of helpful tricks and tips on the SR forums. Have you checked over there? Give us some more info and we can try to help. It might be easier to start a new thread either over here or there.
